We work in a high pace environment with time sensitive issues when relating to credit card payments. Must Have: IBM MQ Administrative expertise w/ a minimum of 4 years of exp. but the preferred is 8+ years of exp. MQ Engineer experience ushering upgrades, troubleshooting and vulnerability resolution (not looking for production support) IBM MQ Cluster experience Unix/Linux Scripting expertise MQ middleware engineer experience **time to time weekend or after hour work & willingness to be on call once a month.** Nice to Have: Cloud experience, AWS> Proactive Team player Available and reliable Strong Communicator Day to day: Work in team of 6 team members focused on troubleshooting issues on MQ software Assist with Production issues Build new MQ environments and setup the security measures to ensure risk and vulnerabilities are addressed Job Description: We are seeking an IBM MQ Administrator to join our team and be responsible for managing and maintaining our IBM MQ infrastructure - The IBM MQ Administrator will work closely with the development team to ensure the availability and reliability of our messaging infrastructure to support our applications and services - Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ servers and associated infrastructure - Monitor the performance of the IBM MQ servers and associated infrastructure, troubleshoot any issues, and take corrective action to resolve problems - Ensure the availability and reliability of IBM MQ servers and associated infrastructure, including implementation of High Availability and Disaster Recovery solutions - Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans for IBM MQ servers - Collaborate with the development team to integrate IBM MQ into our applications and services - Manage access controls, security configurations, and authentication protocols for IBM MQ servers - Configure and manage IBM MQ objects, including queues, topics, and channels - Deep understanding of IBM MQ cluster design, operation and maintenance - Implement and maintain IBM MQ clustering and workload balancing - Work with other teams to ensure the integration of IBM MQ with other data stores and messaging systems - Automate deployment and management of IBM MQ servers - Document IBM MQ infrastructure configurations and procedures - Experience with Unix shell scripting - Experience with AWS - EC2, Load balancers, ASGs, Network (SG, ENI, VPC, Availability zones) - Experience with DevOps/Jenkins/Pipelines -- Keywords: message queue information technology Hiring!!! - IBM MQ Administrator - 100% Remote [email protected] |
