Position Role Web QA automation engineer Key Skills to Look For We are looking for a seasoned Web QA front End Author that will be embedded in the Marketing Operations team supporting a variety of Web QA related projects with a goal to improve the quality as well as build QA scripts and other processes to proactively detect production issues before and after web authoring releases. Evaluates, tests, and validates websites. Assesses service levels and product performance to ensure they meet established quality standards. Documents issues and tracks status in designated systems. Develops solutions to resolve problems and makes recommendations for improvements to process, configuration, and products. The Senior Web Quality developer will work closely with various cross functional teams consisting of Web Authors, Web Marketers, Marketing Operations, and Product Development engineers to identify and remedy website defects and build QA automations, and regression QA/testing. This role requires a professional with a keen eye for details who can work resourcefully and efficiently to assure quality of Web QA programs and systems connected to our web content platform. In addition, creating test plans for traceability of requirements, monitoring and logging anomaly conditions of environments, correcting escalated conditions, assisting in web metrics tracking and testing coverage, monitoring of defects queues. The ideal candidate will perform manual testing for certain use cases and be flexible and willing to do this type of manual testing. Main responsibilities but not limited to: Contributions into Automation Framework Requirements Monitor web pages on everyday by automating the regression test scenarios Detailed documentation of defects found during test execution Reporting of test execution results. Manual QA for certain use cases to then get to an automated solution Experience and Education: 3-5+ years of software development background 3-5+ years of manual & automation testing experience of n-tier applications 3-5+ years hands-on experience developing automation tools, framework, continuous integration and build automation systems Strong test experience with UI/UX testing and front end SW applications Experience with web technologies and web frameworks (Angular 2+/React/VueJS/Node/CSS, etc.) Extensive experience solving cross-browser compatible front-end web experiences with React.js, HTML5, CSS3 Experience working in a fast-paced environment with many different projects Awareness of web performance considerations Shown ability to develop robust, efficient, high-quality test code Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytic skills BS in Computer Science or equivalent related experience Experience Level 5+ Yrs.
