From: Himanshu, Innovyt [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position :: Consultant, Data Warehouse Architect Location :: Reston, VA Duration :: Contract Reports To: Director, Data Management and Analytics Job Level: Department: Technology FLSA Status: Location: Reston, VA(Hybrid) Position Type: Contract Summary Description: The Data Warehouse Consultant plays a pivotal role in designing, developing, managing, monitoring client data integration solution into Data Warehouse, ensuring efficient and high-performing data integration process and database for analytics needs. The role requires a deep understanding of the client business operations to architect technical data solutions that support ongoing strategic needs. Key Responsibilities: Design and development of the client analytical and decision support technologies (i.e., data warehouse, SSIS, T-SQL, Procedures and Functions, decision science, data integration). Develop long-term recommendations and plans to implement data-related technologies that support client business needs and the client Technology groups strategy (i.e., cloud, speed-to-market, out-of-the-box solutions, etc.). Manage the operational support for all the production applications including ETL, DW and other analytical infrastructure. Collaborate with DMA team, scrum master to work on the stories assigned and complete them in the given sprints. Work closely with the DW Manager, data architect and application development team in the resolving any data issues of ETL failures. Work to oversee the implementation of efficient and high-quality data pipelines needed to support the client business systems. Act as the senior technical expert related to all data-related technologies used at client and their interactions and integrations with the rest of the technology stack. Work on Azure Migration and data warehouse modernization tasks. Other responsibilities and duties, as assigned. Minimum Requirements: 5 years experience in related field. Bachelors degree in a quantitative or scientific field such as computer science, computer engineering, or data analytics; Or equivalent combination of education, skills, and experience. Knowledge of software design concepts, general debugging methods, and database management techniques. Experience as an ETL developer using SQL Server Integration Services and complex Stored Procedures. Expertise in data integration from multiple sources into physical Data Warehouse using SSIS. Experience in monitoring, auditing, troubleshooting ETL processes in production. Advanced level of SQL programming and database management skills. Demonstrated experience in Data Warehouse design / data modelling. Ability to guide others in resolving complex issues of significance to the organization. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team setting, and across external and internal stakeholder groups. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong attention to detail, with a keen focus on quality. Strong analytical skills. Comfort with multi-tasking. Ability to travel to various client locations, when needed. Technical Skills Required: SQL Server, SSIS package development, SSIS jobs monitoring, Stored Procedures and Functions, API integration.
