| Dont Share H1B Profiles Job Title: SDET Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite) Job Experience 1. 8+ years of hands on experience in software development ( desired) and Testing 2. Proven experience with scripting languages like Python, Node JS, Javascript or development platforms like Java 3. Experience in use of Test Automation tools like Cypress IO, Webdriver IO, Playwright IO or tools like Selenium ( Java ) 4. Experience with relational databases like Oracle, Postgres or non RDBMS like Mongo DB. 5. Good understanding and experience of working with cloud capability providers like AWS, GCP etc ( GCP desirable) 6. Expertise in developing Automation framework and script development 7. Exposure to Tech like Docker, Ci Pipelines with tools like Github, Gitlab etc. 8. Experience of mentoring other Quality Engineers/ SDETs 9. Expertise in API testing with tools like Jmeter, Rest Assured IO or SOAP UI etc. and understanding of Testing pyramid 10. Experience of working with Agile tools like JIRA or Rally 11. Experience of working in programs following SAFE methodology. 12. Experience of working with cross-functional engineering teams with a solution-oriented approach 13. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently 14. Automation first mindset is must 15. Good understanding of Insurance functions and processes, both within the organization and across the industry, preferably commercial insurance industry. 16. Quality Certification is preferred. Responsibilities 1. Responsible for testing of applications using Automation and in some cases manual 2. Pairing with developers and understanding of code being developed 3. Develop automation test cases and execute them in support of user stories planned for sprint 4. Participate in PI planning, Sprint planning, estimation of QA tasks and team demos 5. Work with employees from vendor organizations, help out with day to day activities with Scrum master. 6. Defect identification and logging defects in Defect management tool. 7. Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements 8.
