| Please share resume on [email protected] Title: Network Engineer Location: East Peoria, IL, local, no opt/cpt Duration: 12 months contract with possible extension As a LAN Analyst/Engineer for the client Americas team, you will have the opportunity to work both independently and as part of a team on complex network projects. You will develop your professional network and leadership skills as you support a wide variety of network-related solutions. You will also utilize your technical skillset and business understanding to help solve critical business problems. Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve LAN issues and replace defective components as needed Respond as needed to support requests that relate to LAN development and support Provide off-shift support for critical incidents. Team members rotate through an on-call schedule, requiring occasional off-shift and weekend support calls Work directly, as needed, with business partners and vendors with integration of infrastructure Design and implement processes and process improvements to aid in development and support Follow ITSM process and documentation for all changes Collaborate with other technical teams as needed to plan and execute changes (i.e., firewall, VPN, wireless, NAC, etc.) Advise business partners regarding technical questions/issues in the LAN space Required Qualifications: Computer-related or engineering-related four-year degree (or equivalent work experience) Three to six years of progressively responsible IT job-related experiences LAN implementation and support, knowledge of risk domains, tiered domains, TCP/IP fundamentals, ethernet, QoS, IP subnetting, cabling (copper & fiber), OSPF, VLAN Trunking, VLANs, and switching configuration Functional experience with LAN operations and implementation utilizing Cisco switches and familiarity with Cisco equipment Ability to work in a team atmosphere and collaborate with others in a positive manner Other Desirable Qualifications: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Experience with automation technologies and scripting Experience with DNA Center Wireless knowledge and experience Relevant work experience with medium to large companies Top 3 Skills: Comp-sci or Engineering 4-year degree, or equivalent work experience/3-6 years IT job experience LAN implementation and support, knowledge of risk domains, tiered domains, TCP/IP fundamentals, ethernet, QoS, IP subnetting, cabling (copper & fiber), OSPF, VLAN Trunking, VLANs, and switching configuration Functional experience with LAN operations and implementation utilizing Cisco switches and familiarity with Cisco equipment Thanks, Ravikar Yadav | 1Point System LLC Fax: 803-832-7973 [email protected] 115 Stone Village Drive Suite C Fort Mill, SC 29708 LinkedIn ID : https://www.linkedin.com/in/ravikar-yadav-292b9b147/ An E-Verified company | An Equal Opportunity Employer -- Keywords: information technology Idaho Illinois South Carolina Local Profile only - Network Engineer - East Peoria, IL - No CPT/OPT [email protected] |
