Role: VB Dotnet Location: Dallas TX (Local only) Rate : 50/hr Skills: VB Dotnet, ASP, Microsoft SQL Server Position Overview: Developer proficient in VB.NET, ASP, and Microsoft SQL Server to design, develop, and maintain software solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing web applications using VB.NET and ASP, as well as extensive experience working with Microsoft SQL Server databases. The Senior Software Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software products that meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain web applications using VB.NET and ASP. Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries to support application functionality. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope. Create technical design documents, including system architecture diagrams, database schema designs, and interface mockups. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software quality and reliability. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve technical skills and enhance software development processes. Mentor junior developers and guide on technical issues and best practices.
