Role: Kafka Admin Location: Winston Salem, NC (Onsite) -- Need only USC/H1B's Requirements : The Confluent Kafka Administrator - is responsible for provisioning, administration, security, monitoring of Kafka environments. The administrator is expected to provide day-to-day operational support, and work with Development/Product partners to service their needs. Devops experience automate using terraform, Kubernetes. Create environments, clusters in Confluent Kafka Cloud. Expertise in defining, installing, maintaining Schema Registry. Create, manage source/sink Connectors to different systems. Provision users and service accounts with appropriate roles and ACLs. Develop security guidelines specific for environment. Aid in automation of operations eg moving connectors, topics from lower to higher environments. Configure monitoring with Dynatrace, Splunk. Maintain API Keys. Expertise in Cluster Linking and Replicator. Develop and define procedures to handle operational scenarios. Experience in tuning Producers/Consumers for throughput/lag. Knowledge of Terraform. Experience with Confluent Kafka provisioning, administration, security.
