Job Title: Systems Administrator Location: Alpharetta, GA (Night Shift 10PM to 6AM) Duration: 12+ Months Contract It is mostly hardware installation and network cabling. I will add the description below. Something to note on this role is that after an initial training period, this role will be on an evening work schedule. A candidate being flexible with time is very important for this role. This position is responsible for the Hardware instillation including servers. Primary location is in Alpharetta. Resources will need to drive between this location and the main campus. This is an evening position. Qualifications: Data Center infrastructure project build-outs and planning for rack, stack, and cabling of IT hardware. IT hardware and network cabling adds, moves, changes, and retirements. Provide proactive and break fix support for alarm/ticket remediation related to data center equipment. Adhere to data center design standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure. Strict adherence to the Change Management window 10PM 6AM. IT Facilities Team is responsible for: IT Governance of all site implementations, inventories, infrastructure planning, escorting, preventative maintenances and break/fix services for data center critical infrastructure, IT certification labs, and remote communication room critical environment equipment IT support of IT Labs to align our client application and engineering teams with workstations, hardware and access to test their application Remote coordination in partnership with professional services responsible for critical infrastructure maintenance and break-fix activities at remote communication rooms Management, operation, maintenance, and monitoring of all critical facilities infrastructure for data center and remote communication room equipment Development of data center and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure Support IT Facilities Campus Fiber Ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the Atlanta Airport and Campus Facilities underground fiber ring. Recommending and implementing departmental policy, guidelines, standards, and procedures. Assures compliance with all governing corporate standards and guidelines.
