Position : Data Analyst / Data Modeler Location : Remote Duration: 8+ months Visa : NO H1B/ CPT Interview mode: : video - Job Description Background: Azure Data Platform to provide the data needs of our customers by ingesting the necessary data to enable their operational goals. Key Experience(s): 3-5 years experience as a Data Analyst and Data Modeler in data lake/data lakehouse/data warehouse environment, including: Data quality/data profiling Investigating data anomalies Metadata management/data dictionaries Source-to-Target definitions Business requirements to data requirements translation Dimensional data modeling experience, including experience with modeling slowly changing dimensions Power BI experience a plus Understanding of Agile (SCRUM) practices Story writing in Agile formats Previously run or contributed to discovery interviews Previous work on FISERV products, specifically DNA, considered a plus Previous experience with DB2 a plus Experience with Databricks is a plus Previous work in Financial Services or Farm Credit, considered a plus Key Skill(s): Good communicator, both written and verbal Well organized Attention to detail Ability to piece the big picture together given the defined purpose of the work at hand Key Technology /Certification(s): Data modeling tools (Toad preferred) SQL and/or Python Power BI Azure cloud ADO experience a plus Key Responsibilities: Analyze data to support operational and strategic advancements across the organization. Establish data integrity and efficiencies Build a foundation of performance reporting and data enablement Identify trends and patterns to form hypotheses and provide recommendations to solve complex problems Actively manage product backlog Research and capture requirements for User Stories Produce meeting notes from discovery interviews Write acceptance criteria Facilitate story discussions in internal team meetings as needed Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standup, demos, etc.) QA test, as needed, in preparation of moving to UAT Thanks and Regards MD AFTAB ALAM US IT Recruiter ConvexTech Inc.
