| Hi Contract Role: VMware Horizon 8 Location: Omaha, NE (Remote) JD: VMware Horizon View 7.x or 8.x, vRealize Log Insight, VMWare AppVolumes 2.18.2, Dynamic Environment Manager 9.x or 10.x, VMWare Identity Manager 3.2, VMWare Unified Access Gateway 3.8, vRealize Operations Manager 8.0, VMware vSphere, Power Shell scripting, Control Up, ServiceNow, JIRA, Agile Process Should have working Experience (Or sound Knowledge) on below Activities: Administration of the VMware Horizon View environment. VDI environment health checks and monitoring. Administration and maintenance of VRealize Operations Manager. Capacity planning for the VDI environment. Analysis, administration, and support of virtual desktops. Administration of RDSH Farms and Application pools Administration of user entitlements to access VDI. Appstack creation and Administration AppVolumes (Virtual Application packaging and remediation) Develop and maintain O&S Standard Operating Procedures for VDI Environment Diagnoses and troubleshoots problems in the environment. Assists in ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures Participate in the development and implementation of VDI-related operational procedures and standards. Interface with product vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during outages or periods of reduced performance. Patching OS and Client SW for non-persistent VDIs Maintenance of App Volumes and user environment management (UEM) Manage changes to VDI infrastructure and appstacks to ensure no critical or high incidents result when executed Manage changes on Dynamic Environment Manager 9.3, Administration and maintenance of VMWare Identity Manager 3.2, Administration and maintenance of VMWare Unified Access Gateway 3.8 Having Knowledge on VMware vSphere components (vCenter, EXSi) Having Knowledge or Experience Windows server 2012/2016/2019 Understand ITIL process for Incident, Change and Project Management.
