Role: Hardware Engineer Location: Onsite - Foxboro, MA (occasional hybrid) Duration: Contract Experience: 7+ Years JD: Top 3 Must Haves: - Experience with hardware product development lifecycle and experience with released product and support. - Experience with hardware board designing and testing with more emphasis on analog circuit design - Experience in using schematic generation tools like DxDesigner 7.9.5 5-10 Years Experience Preferred Skills: - Experience in using CAM tools like ViewMate or similar for Gerber validation - Good Knowledge of PCB layout, Gerbers and using DFM/DFT guidelines. - Good understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes This potential position is to maintain Schneider Electrics DCS hardware to address End Of Life (EOL) issue related to electronic components, address field issues and also involve in designing next generation DCS products. The work involves identifying alternate components, perform derating analysis, create schematics, netlist verification and validation, support board layouts, reproduce the field issues and provide resolution.
