We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic BASIC developer to join our team in either Jersey City, NJ or Tampa, FL (onsite required). In this contract role, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining a user-friendly BASIC interpreter or compiler. Responsibilities: Develop, test, and debug BASIC code according to project specifications. Contribute to the design and implementation of new features for the BASIC environment. Write clear and concise documentation for the developed code. Collaborate with engineers and other developers to ensure smooth integration with existing systems. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in BASIC and related technologies. Qualifications: Proven experience developing in BASIC or a similar language (e.g., Logo). Strong understanding of programming fundamentals (variables, data types, control flow, etc.). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to write clean, well-documented code.
