Managing and monitoring AWS resources: An AWS cloud engineer is responsible for managing and monitoring AWS resources, including IAM, EC2, FSx, S3, VPC, Cloud and other AWS services, to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently. Implementing security and compliance measures: An AWS cloud engineer must be familiar with AWS CIS security best practices and be able to implement security and compliance measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Also, knowledge of writing and implementing preventative SCP policies. Automating tasks and workflows: An AWS cloud engineer should have experience with automation tools like Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, and be able to automate tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
