Must have Accounting Degree Important Points: Reporting in Fixed Assets (Workday) Review fixed asset additions and retirements, depreciation expense, gain/loss on disposals and all related reconciliations. Maintain the companys fixed asset policy and ensure it is in compliance with GAAP. Including assisting and guiding other departments in determining what costs qualify as capitalizable. Prepare and record internal capitalized compensation costs. Prepares account reconciliations for areas assigned Review/prepare quarterly and annual schedules and analysis for auditors/tax consultants Implement SOX Ensure company is in compliance with internal SOX controls for areas assigned. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, REQUIRED SKILLS: Fixed Assets - Workday experience Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc. Proficient with basic computer applications, including Excel, Word, E-Mail. 10-key by touch required. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exits. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or scheduled form. Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
