Job Title: Oracle EDQ Developer Location: Chicago, IL Type: Long Term Contract Job Description: The Oracle EDQ Developer is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining data quality solutions using Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) tools and technologies. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements, analyzing data quality issues, and implementing effective solutions to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. The Oracle EDQ Developer works closely with data architects, database administrators, and other IT teams to integrate data quality processes into existing systems and workflows. Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand data quality requirements and objectives. Design, develop, and implement data quality rules, processes, and workflows using Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) tools and technologies. Analyze and profile source data to identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, and anomalies. Develop and maintain data quality scorecards, dashboards, and reports to monitor and measure data quality metrics. Implement data cleansing, standardization, enrichment, and deduplication processes to improve data quality. Integrate data quality processes into ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows and data pipelines. Collaborate with data architects and database administrators to ensure data quality solutions align with data architecture standards and best practices. Perform data analysis and root cause analysis to identify the underlying causes of data quality issues. Develop and maintain documentation, including data quality rules, processes, and technical specifications.
