Job Role: QA Analyst with Transaction Data System (TDS) Location: 100% remote Candidates need to be on EST or CST time zone Need 10-15 years of Experience Job Description: In this position, the Quality Assurance Analyst II will play a pivotal role in the software development lifecycle, focusing on advanced quality improvement and validation of quality criteria. He or she will be able to understand complex software architecture and requirements. Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive test plans and cases. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts. Drive innovation in testing methodologies and quality assurance processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct thorough and detailed quality assurance testing of company products to ensure they meet organization standards and end-user requirements. Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various types of testing such as functional, regression, performance, and integration. Document and evaluate test results, track and manage defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues. Continuously improve QA testing processes to enhance test coverage, improve efficiency, and reduce errors. Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance standards and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle. Provide guidance and support to junior QA analysts, fostering a team environment. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems. Stay abreast of the latest testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices. Participate in educational opportunities, read professional publications, maintain personal networks, and participate in professional organizations Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the Quality Assurance Department. KNOWLEDGE & REQUIREMENTS Advanced understanding of databases, including SQL and NoSQL. Proficiency in automation tools like Selenium, Appium, and Cypress. Expertise in UNIX/Linux environments, including shell scripting and virtualization. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Agile methodology adherence with flexibility to adapt in dynamic environments. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in a Quality Assurance role with a proven track record in QA methodologies. Strong knowledge of software QA tools, processes, and best practices. Experience with automated testing tools is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
