Excellent communication skills - Able to work with both the business and tech teams troubleshoot and resolve issues As a member of Workday HR technology team, gather requirements from users, analyze, and create a high-level solution that meets Client s architecture standards. Also, design, develop and maintain integrations within the Client s workday ecosystem. Job Responsibilities Involve in all aspects of solution engineering, design scalable solutions following enterprise architecture guidelines. Use technical knowledge, creativity and company practices and priorities to obtain solutions to complex problems. Own the solution from requirements gathering to final delivery working with various partners users, architects, developers, and release team members. Capture the requirements from users with a focus on the complete solution. Design, develop and maintain Workday integrations using best practices and industry standards. Coordinate with architecture team to ensure the solution is meeting the Client s standards. Work with developers translating the requirements into a final product. Validate the solution against the requirements and work with users obtaining sign-off Monitor platform health and work with Workday to resolve product issues. Perform the impact analysis to current functionality due to Workday upgrades, plan and execute mitigation steps to minimize the impact. Identify test scenarios, prepare test cases, and execute test plans to ensure quality deliverables. Keep the documentation up to date for all changes and new development within Integration space. Interface with senior management to provide and obtain information and to build consensus regarding project direction. Collaborates with other developers and provides significant contributions to develop specifications to resolve business client questions, problems, and to address enhancement needs. Skill/Experience/Education Mandatory Skills Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related discipline preferred. 5+ years of Workday Integration experience is required. 5+ years of HR domain experience is required . Expert knowledge developing integrations using EIB, Cloud Connect, and Workday Studio Thorough understanding of XSLT, Document Transformation and utilizing them in integrations Understanding of different types of Workday integrations, capabilities, and limitations. Prior workday integration development experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to Workday reports and calculated fields Creating complex Workday reports and calculated fields Knowledge of Workday Business Processes and Integration Security is required. Hands on experience using Workday API (both get/put) Experience writing and reviewing software design specifications in an object-oriented development environment. HR domain knowledge Core, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Talent, Performance, and Absence modules Prior working experience with Agile methodology preferred. Ability to identify and resolve the issues quickly and work with minimal supervision. Knowledge of all phases of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and support. Ability to respond directly to questions from business clients. Knowledge of standard change management tools and processes. Ability to work in a team environment.
