Thermal Design: Thermal design skills are required to effectively manage the heat of server equipment. Electrical design: electrical design skills are required to design the power supply and wiring of the server equipment. CAD Software: Requires skill in using CAD software to design the product. Material Selection: requires skills in selecting appropriate materials to improve product performance and durability. Manufacturing process understanding: requires skills in understanding the product manufacturing process and incorporating this into the design. Prototyping: Prototyping skills are required to build and evaluate product prototypes. Quality Control: Quality control skills are required to ensure product quality. Project Management: Requires project management skills to manage project progress and assign tasks. Teamwork: requires teamwork skills to work with multiple teams to develop products. Engineers who can produce design drawings and specifications are preferred. Experience working for a large server rack company such as Vertive or Rittal is preferred.
