Job Title: Sr. Scrum -Product Owner Location: 100% Remote + Monthly 1-2 meetings in Reston VA Duration: 6+ Months Hire Method: Video/Skype Visa: GC/USC Sr. Scrum -Product Owner, AL/ML based (6+ years Relevant) (Recent Core Health insurance Customer + AL/ML exp is MUST) The selected Scrum Product Owner will be working with the scrum team, scrum master, external and internal project stakeholders, and management team on their AI/ML Product development effort. In order to fill the role the Hiring Manager is seeking a Scrum Professional that has demonstrated experience including: Business savviness and ability to discover the potential business and product opportunities Experience with product roadmaps development and influencing key stake holders for buy in on business priorities Experience with managing the creation and grooming of user stories and defining acceptance criteria in Scrum Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop Epics, User Stories etc. and prioritize them. Support development of product vision and Product roadmap. Lead Agile grooming sessions on all product user stories. Ensure team has a prioritized story backlog for every sprint Managing the creation and grooming of user stories and defining acceptance criteria in Scrum. Lead Release planning / Support Sprint Planning / Accept stories on behalf of customer. Make timely feature decisions on behalf of the customer, so the delivery teams can act on those. Support product evolution by engaging all stakeholders and sponsors, documentation of future state requirements, development of a Product vision/roadmap for the future, and aligning stakeholders on the path ahead. Work very closely with Scrum Master, Project Manager, Product Manager and the Scrum team to support seamless and efficient flow of work. Required Skills Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience. Agile Scrum Certification is required. ( SAFE certification is a big plus) Six (6) PLUS years as a Scrum Product Owner Minimum of one (1) recent AI/ML related project as a Product Owner Strong Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) knowledge Able/willing to create/write/maintain Jira stories in support of Business Analysis functions.
