Role Title: Lab Automation Engineer Location: Mountain View, CA [On-Site] Job description: Job Duties and requirements- Device test automation using Python scripts Utilize in-house test automation frameworks to automate the manual test cases for consumer electronics device Extend the test automation framework for specific requirements Understand the existing manual test cases and be able to quickly translate them to automated test cases. Implementing best practices, new tools and technology to automate the manual test cases. Maintain test infrastructure and testbeds to achieve high stability and availability of the testbeds Creating/updating designs using AutoCAD / SolidWorks Requirements- BS / MS in Computer Science or equivalent Experience of writing test scripts and API test automation in Python 5-8 years of relevant experience Experience developing test automation for consumer electronics devices Android adb commands and log analysis experience is an added advantage. Good knowledge of Linux Good verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in computer applications including spreadsheets, and Words processing.
