| Kindly share only GC & USC Profile Title: Web Developer Location: Remote Experience: 8+ years Duration: 6+ Months Description: As a Contract Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in the framework migration and maintenance of our web properties. You will work closely with the website team to migrate key areas of the site from Gatsby framework to Next.js in support of the effort to move to a faster, better-supported cloud hosting platform. Responsibilities: Migrate specific sections of the website from Gatsby framework to Next.js as outlined in Jira tickets by Web Team Manager Collaborate with development team on subtasks, bug fixes, etc. required as part of the migration process Assist in QA of pages or subsections in the site as framework changes go live Flag any potential issues that come up as part of the migration Requirements: Experience with Next.js, Gatsby, both a bonus BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience required. 3+ years of experience in constructing and deploying web applications or interactive websites, with a deep understanding in web development languages, frameworks, and tools (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js, etc.). Knowledge of web technologies, encompassing the DOM, web security, cloud hosting, asynchrony, and performance optimization. Experience working with Headless CMS, preferably Contentful. Highly adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced, transformative, and results-driven SaaS software environment. Preferred: Up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommend new tools and approaches to enhance development processes.
