| Hi Contract Role: iOS Developer Exp 10+ Location: California in any of the locations (Irvine, Los Angeles, Mountain View, San Bruno, San Diego, San Francisco, Sunnyvale) Onsite Rate: 60 Must have: Objective-C and UIKit Swift legacy code bases JD This PA provides user interface components and guidance for 80+ Google-owned iOS apps. As part of this work, Google team is responsible for addressing customer-submitted feedback and bugs related to our components and guidance. Resolving these issues in a timely manner is part of an ongoing service-level objective (SLO) of our organization. Overall Responsibilities: Your role will be to resolve bugs as efficiently as possible, both as part of an existing backlog of ~50 open issues as well as new issues as they come in, at a pace of ~20 / quarter. This role requires familiarity with both Swift and Objective-C, as our code base uses both languages. Most critically, you will need to have a solid understanding of UIKit and iOS platform norms in order to resolve many issues. You should have existing familiarity with UIKit's best practices and norms. Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: 1. Triaging new and open issues. 2. Delivering technical solutions and changes to address the issues. 3. Working with our centralized testing infrastructure to ensure that the landed changes do not cause unexpected regressions.
