| From: Vijay Chepyala, Talent Group [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role : Sr Cloud Data Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 12+Months Contract Job Description: Desired Skills & Experience: 5+ years of experience in working with modern cloud data warehouse platform like Snowflake or Azure Synapse Analytics. 5+ years or more experience performing Data Engineering using ETL/ELT methodologies using tools like IBM DataStage, Informatica Powercenter. Mandatory Matillion ETL/ELT experience. (Minimum 3+ year) 5+ years of experience in working with traditional on-prem database systems like Oracle, SQL Server, Green Plum, Netezza, etc. Proficient Python experience Strong SQL skills. Strong knowledge on cloud technologies Azure/AWS. Experience in working with, and developing Metadata drive ETL design patterns Experience working ETL load patterns for large scale Enterprise Data Warehouse Experience with CI/CD toolset (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure Devops) Experience working GIT (GitHub, Azure Devops) Job Roles & Responsibilities: Work closely with client business and technical groups on data-focused projects Design of Data Warehouse solutions on Microsoft Azure platform using modern cloud native tools. Create new solutions to complex design issues Develop long term application development strategies Participate in all aspects of the application lifecycle: requirements analysis & definition, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and sustainment Experience in Azure/AWS/GCP cloud paltforms. Experience in Azure Synpase/Snowflake cloud data warehouse platforms. Proactively communicates risks and issues with PM and Lead, including articulating and presenting the resolution options, their pros and cons, trade offs, etc. Participates in daily stand ups with remote project team (internal and with client) Nice to have: Healthcare Payer experience Experience in ETL conversion projects into Matillion Nice to Have: Strong knowledge on cloud technologies Azure/AWS.
