IDJC is seeking staff augmentation of a seasoned IT Project Manager who has skilled expertise in achieving results coordinating, gathering, documenting, driving, status updating and communicating project progress on all deliverables and related relevant work being performed by a cross functional team of both contracted and state staff. This is the expert-level project manager for a large IT modernization project. This project requires the incumbent be an expert in project management, including the planning, development, implementation, and taking action on critical items in a large, complex projects. Incumbents must coordinate across several groups and will provide recommendations and direction to a large and diverse project team in the final phase of the IJOS 2.0 modernization project. They will be responsible for the achievement of project goals, work plans, timelines, and results driven strategies. They are responsible for identifying critical path decision-making issues, coordinating amongst key stakeholders, contributing to a culture of focused team engagement and support in prioritizing and pushing toward the ultimate objective, an IJOS 2.0 Go-Live event, and providing critical post go-live customer support. This role will be required to sustain stakeholder and/or community support, feedback and communication with project team members, and project partners and summarize and escalate to IDJC leaders for decision making on critical issues. Description This position will drive results for the final phase of this project, some duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: o Updating, maintaining and ensuring the accuracy of Feature Delivery/Testing/Acceptance/Migration Tracking Issue/Bug-Fix Status & Resolution Tracker o Engage with technical staff to gather, document, centralize and communicate to project staff, leadership and other stakeholders & customers o Triage & Attend Progress Update Meetings o Develop Customer Communications, Quarterly Newsletter etc. o Development of a cohesive documentation framework for knowledge transfer: Coordinate Technical Documentation Development Develop Training Documentation / User Manual Development based on training videos Skil Skill Years Used Last Used IT System Development Project Management Required 5 Years Experience coordinating large IT system modernization projects. Highly desired 5 Years PM experience driving clear action steps that achieve results across multi-functional project teams. Required 8 Years Experience preparing and presenting oral presentations to groups, briefing leadership and stakeholders. Required 5 Years PM experience managing a high volume of details from a multi-functional team and summarizing for efficiency and effectiveness. Required 5 Years PM experience monitoring, tracking and communicating the status of critical information for decision making and follow up. Required 8 Years Exceptional communication skills (written & verbal) required as this role will interface with team members of all levels across the agency. Required Technical knowledge and experience with development tools/technology like: SQL, SSRS, API's, DevOps, Git Version Control, Angular/Web UI .
