We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with expertise in supporting banking payments, wire transfers, and incident management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, particularly in payment processing, and a proven track record of effectively managing incidents and ensuring swift resolution. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop strategies to optimize payment systems and incident response procedures. Additionally, you will play a key role in conducting impact assessments, documenting business requirements, and facilitating communication between technical teams and business stakeholders. The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment within the banking industry. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and document business processes related to banking payments, wire transfers, and incident management. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop detailed project plans and timelines. Conduct impact assessments to evaluate the potential effects of proposed changes or system enhancements. Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains, and recommend solutions to optimize payment processing and incident management procedures. Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure successful implementation of solutions. Facilitate communication and collaboration between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle. Provide subject matter expertise on payment systems, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Monitor and track incidents, escalate issues as needed, and coordinate resolution efforts to minimize impact on operations. Develop and maintain documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process workflows. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and conduct training sessions for end users as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on payments, wire transfers, or transaction processing. Strong understanding of banking operations, payment systems, and regulatory requirements, such as ACH, SWIFT, and NACHA rules. Experience with incident management processes, including incident identification, escalation, resolution, and post-incident analysis. Proficiency in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify problems, analyze data, and develop effective solutions. Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
