You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including network architects, IT support, and security personnel, to ensure the seamless operation of wireless infrastructure. Responsibilities: 1. Network Design and Deployment: Designing wireless network solutions based on business requirements using Aruba products. Conducting site surveys and analyzing RF data to optimize network performance. Implementing WLAN infrastructure, including access points, controllers, and network management systems. 2. Configuration and Integration: Configuring Aruba wireless controllers, access points, and related network devices. Integrating WLAN solutions with existing network infrastructure and systems. Implementing security protocols and policies, including authentication and encryption mechanisms. 3. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitoring network performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to optimize performance. Conducting periodic assessments and making recommendations for network improvements. Troubleshooting network issues and providing timely resolutions. 4. Documentation and Reporting: Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures. Generating regular reports on network performance, utilization, and security. 5. Collaboration and Support: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects and initiatives. Providing technical expertise and guidance to IT support teams for escalated wireless network issues. Assisting in capacity planning and scalability assessments for WLAN infrastructure. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a WLAN Engineer with a focus on Aruba technologies. Certification in Aruba networking (e.g., Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP), Aruba Certified Design Professional (ACDP), etc.). In-depth knowledge of wireless protocols, standards (e.g., 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax), and RF principles. Proficiency in configuring and managing Aruba wireless controllers, access points, and network management systems. Strong understanding of network security concepts and experience implementing security measures in WLAN environments. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyze complex network issues. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
