JOB TITLE: Data Center Migration Project Manager LOCATION: NY, prefers candidate from NJ (Hybrid 4 days) This person will have to travel (via car) to CAs current NJ location as well as NJ ops center and NYC location Hybrid role but more likely onsite for at less 4 days a week for 1st 3 months. Data Center move in Clifton to new site(TBD). Planning meetings in NYC(just for meetings) Best practices is key in experience (needs to be on resume), Design Data Center, on infrastructure cabling. Set up logistics and physical environment. Cabinet layout Heating, cooling & power understanding of power density per rack Manage the process during move including working with colocation datacenter vendor. Extensive data center move experience How long the move Vendor location selection April 2024 through move June 2026 Data center space needs to be build out - procure racks & cages, work with electricians, structured cabling and DC vendor Understanding of Partial green field and lift shift of network and servers from existing Clifton DC. 2000 sq ft, 50 cabinets, 120 networking devices (20 firewalls 100 switches). High availability. New dc 1800-2000 sq ft. Less contracts/paperwork side more technical. Cloud experience is not require but is a plus.
