Example: enhance OMS functionality for ship to store, improved delivery dates for made to order items, and more. Duties/Day to Day Overview You will be part of the Supply Chain Product Management team responsible for delivering strategic solutions to drive value to our business partners and WSI. Our job is to ensure that we deliver quality IT initiatives that exceed the expectations of our customers and provide a return on our technology investment. In this role, you will consult and work with the business stakeholders, project managers, architects, development teams, and others to gather and define, then develop and document client requirements as both functional specifications then translate them to technical requirements to ensure successful deployment of deliverables. Responsibilities Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide product and user experience solutions to meet the business needs Develops high level business requirements and translates them into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications. Possesses broad knowledge of technical design specifications and works with technology peers to help develop solutions Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between the business and IT from initial requirements to final implementation Possess and may share subject-matter expertise or in-depth technical knowledge, uses expertise to further development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways May provide tactical work direction to team members Excellent knowledge of product management best practices, functional design and application delivery methodology Customer focused with high quality standards, must possess strong presentation skills Possesses solid knowledge of project management methodology Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, business communication and writing skills Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors Exercises strong judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise Strong decision making capabilities will have an impact on the success of short-term group or division operational goals Frequently interacts with customers, and/or functional peer group IC'S/managers, normally involving matters between functional areas or internal customers May interact with business leadership at all levels May lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team Top Requirements (Must haves) 4+ years of technical product management experience Project experience within supply chain initiatives, including but not limited to order management, order-fulfillment/omni-channel (backend, fulfillment side, not customer facing/marketplace side) Coming from a technical environment working with engineers (not coming from the business/operations side) Day to day experience with working with business stakeholders,, gathering requirements, writing user stories, and working with development teams to execute on feature/functionality or enhancements of systems/applications. Experience working in an Agile environment and with Jira. Soft Skills Ability to crystallize a problem and clearly define, analyze and articulate solutions Collaborative spirit who can work well with large cross-functional teams Motivated to learn, high energy level, etc Excellent written and verbal communicator; Strong business acumen, experience working with stakeholders, negotiation, etc. Attention to detail with the tenacity to dig into complex scenarios Best Regards Md.
