We need someone highly experienced in modern technologies and well versed with best practices in this area. Role Description: We are seeking a Data Architect to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to design and implement data architecture for business applications. Your responsibilities will include developing and documenting data models, optimizing queries and indexes, ensuring data security, and supporting application reporting and analytics requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop and document data architecture and design. Create data models in AWS Document DB and AWS RDS DB, and optimize queries and indexes. Implement database tables, indexing, maintenance, backup, transformations, and stored procedures. Design data models to support application reporting, analytics, and auditing requirements. Expose data to applications in various business tiers. Implement appropriate data access permission schemas. Participate in refining and developing user stories, assessing the impact of new developments on database implementation. Requirements: 10+ years of database experience. Proficiency in PostgreSQL/Any RDBMS and at least one NoSQL DB MongoDB/Document DB. Strong command of SQL language. Solid understanding of relational database architecture and concepts. Familiarity with application security best practices and performance optimization techniques. Experience with Agile development methodology and tools. Experience working with databases in the Cloud, preferably AWS. Familiarity with Docker and AWS services. Strong analytical skills and ability to perform performance tuning and database development.
