Position- Enterprise Data Warehouse Architect Location- Hybrid - Orlando, FL Duration- 12 Months INTERVIEW TYPE-Video REQUIRED SKILLS TOGAF experience Relational database SQL server skills Azure Data Factory SSIS Role Focus: The primary focus of the role is on business/technical architecting involved with data modeling (75%) and engineering with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL (25%). Current Consultant's Responsibilities: The current consultant's responsibilities include pulling data from different sources, designing a common data model, and handling master data management. They are also involved in building a Data Vault model and populating it using ADF. Enterprise Data Warehouse Architect Responsibilities: The main function of the role is to create the architecture for the enterprise, handle data modeling, and manage master data. The candidate will need to be proficient in defining data models, setting up data models, and building the architecture to house diverse data from various sources. Data Modeling Methods: The candidate should be familiar with different rules and methods of data modeling, such as TNF model, dimensional model, etc. They should be able to translate data definitions from different sources and structure the data efficiently in the enterprise data warehouse. Interactions with Teams: The candidate will act as a bridge between the business and technical teams, interacting with data science/engineering teams, product owners, engineers, application teams, vendor/source data provider teams, and business stakeholders. They will need to understand the business value of the data and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Overall, the ideal candidate should possess strong skills in business/technical architecting, data modeling, master data management, and engineering with ADF and SQL. They should be able to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementations, ensuring efficient data structures and architectures that meet the organization's needs.
