The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of complex systems, focusing on hydraulic engineering, electro-mechanical systems, and electrical circuits. Must have experience with Python, MatLab, or DIAdem. This is a senior role and this individual will be leading multiple projects as well as mentoring team members, so leadership experience is a must! Execute Python backend development to support system functionality and data analysis. Utilize software tools such as Matlab, C++, and DIAdem to design and optimize system performance. Design and implement electro-mechanical systems, including the wiring of electrical systems. Manage product development from concept to production, ensuring that products meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives. Conduct project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities. Perform Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify and mitigate risks. Ensure systems meet EMI/EMC requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system requirements are met. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. 8+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, with a strong focus on hydraulic engineering. Proficiency in Python backend development. Experience with Matlab, C++, and DIAdem. Proven experience in designing and implementing electro-mechanical systems. Experience in wiring electrical systems. Strong product management skills, with the ability to manage product development from concept to production. Proven project management skills, with the ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities. Experience in conducting FMEA and ensuring systems meet EMI/EMC requirements.
