Position Title: Sr Talend Administrator Duration: 6 Months Location: Remote Skills Required: Talend Admin, Kafka Admin, DevOps (CI/CD), Linux, Shell Scripting skills, Certificate Management Responsibilities: Manage and administer Talend infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of Talend components. Handle Kafka administration tasks, such as cluster setup, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting. Implement and manage DevOps practices, including continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Linux shell scripting for various system administration and deployment tasks. Manage certificate lifecycle, including creation, renewal, and revocation, ensuring secure communication within the environment. Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of applications. Monitor system performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure optimal uptime and performance. Implement security best practices and policies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues related to Talend, Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux systems. Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in data integration, streaming platforms, DevOps practices, and security. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. Proven experience as a Talend Administrator, Kafka Administrator, or DevOps Engineer, with expertise in managing Talend and Kafka clusters. Strong Linux system administration skills, including shell scripting and automation. Experience with DevOps tools and practices, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, etc. Knowledge of certificate management principles and tools. Familiarity with security protocols, encryption standards, and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at various levels. Certifications in Talend, Kafka, DevOps, or related technologies are a plus.
