Experience working with and expert-level knowledge in PostgreSQL/Any RDBMS and at least one NoSQL DB MongoDB / DocumentDB. Excellent command of the SQL language with the ability to write and optimize complex queries. Solid knowledge of relational database architecture and concepts. Security and Performance: Knowledge of application security best practices and performance optimization techniques. Experience in Agile development methodology & Agile development tools. Experience working with the databases in Cloud, preferably AWS. Containerization and Cloud Services: Experience with Docker, and familiarity with AWS services. Strong analytical skills and ability to do performance tuning and database development. Great communication and collaboration skills. Responsibilities :- The database architect will develop and document data architecture and design. Develops Data models in AWS DocumentDB and AWS RDS DBs and works on Query, index optimizations etc. Understands what business and applications needs are and set up ways store, organize and access needed for the application. Develop and implement database tables, indexing, maintenance, back-up, transformations, and stored procedures. Design and develops data model to support application reporting and analytics and auditing requirements. Expose data to application in various business tiers. implement appropriate data access permission schemas. Participate in the refinement and development of user stories, assessing the impact of new development on the database implementation.
