POSITION Sr. Business Analyst LOCATION Fairfield, CA (3 days onsite no flexibility regarding onsite) local candidates only, no relocation DURATION 6 months INTERVIEW TYPE Video VISA RESTRICTIONS USC with LinkedIn REQUIRED SKILLS 7-10 years of BA experience Worked in an Agile and waterfall environments Healthcare/claims background experience Very strong communication this role will be the center point of the projects Duties/Day to Day Overview Works closely with business users and IT to write business requirements, create user stories, test plans, and other project documentation. Understand the reporting requirements and assists in trouble shooting issues. Leverage Jira to create user stories and document project updates Collaborate with technical teams for any required integrations with third-party applications Recommend enhancements to streamline processes and improve efficiency Help monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to meet project deadlines and goals Top Requirements (Must haves) Experience supporting data driven projects Background with product building projects (they will be building an application from scratch) Confers with functional or technical experts to develop requirements or resolve issues. Worked in an Agile and waterfall environments Very strong communication this role will be the center point of the projects Analyzes business needs, processes, and requirements, and develops software requirement specifications. Collects business requirements and creates user storied and flow charts. Communicates system changes and processes to appropriate personnel, documenting any processes as necessary. Hands on QA/testing experience is nice to have but not required Troubleshoots and resolves issues or assigns issues to the appropriate internal expert. Follows up with external and internal business users on status of open issues. Performs other tasks as assigned to ensure integrity of data and accurate reporting.
