Title of Position: Azure DevOps Engineer Length of Assignment: 6 months minimum and maybe 1 year. Onsite: San Antonio, TX Project Background and Details (what will this project accomplish for the business): Someone strong in azure Devops skills. Admin side experience and configuration side. Creating pipelines for continuous integration and deployment. Managing code repos. Working with test plans and work items and boards for their agile processes. 5+ years of experience. Other piece is machine learning ops. Azure machine learning doesnt really have someone, they are data scientists. He doesnt want his data scientists to be doing this work. They are doing the actual data models. Putting models in machine learning and creating training parameters. Configure those deployment pipelines. They will be deploying from qa environment to production environment. Building models in Devops environment. Devops mlops engineer is what he needs. Creating release pipelines to promote models right into the environment. Moving to cloud first, have a python server on premise. Moving to azure. All within azure Devops pipelines. Nothing outside of that. Use open-source tools, Microsoft Devops. Kubernetes wouldnt hurt to have it. Python is great and even then.
