The Software Engineer will help build the Next Gen Pega Applications & Products Suite. Along with writing effective code, the position will be responsible for designing, building, configuring, delivering and maintaining a highly scalable set of applications. The incumbent will use industry best practices and work collaboratively with cross-functional team of product managers, UX designers, architects, principal engineers, software engineers, test automation team and DevOPS engineers.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ w/Bachelors degree

Additional Experience

Experience designing and developing secure applications and products

Pega Managed Cloud

: Experience with developing applications on Pega Managed Cloud

Pega Web Messaging

: Experience with configuring and
implementing chat bot user cased for automated Char interactions

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Ability to identify key issues and details, and present understandable alternatives to both technical and non-technical individuals

Ability to create and maintain technical documentation to support the testing, installation, operations, deployment and maintenance of products Proven ability to effectively present data to facilitate understanding of findings

Ability to solve complex problems using analytical and creative problem-solving skills for design, development and testing of systems

Strong knowledge of prevailing technology trends, design patterns and ability to apply those as needed

Ability to interpret and analyze technology heatmaps and subsequently develop plans to remediate hardware/software nearing End of Life/End of Support

Competent at adhering to organizational processes and procedures including but not limited to scrum and various design artifacts.

Knowledge of agile development methodologies, life-long learner, process improver.
