Overview: We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Integration Specialist to join our team as a contractor for a remote project with a school district. This project involves the migration, setup, and configuration of Microsoft 365, Azure, and/or Intune services. The successful candidate will work closely with district staff to ensure a smooth transition and provide basic training on the new systems. Skills Required: Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune Experience with Windows 11 deployment and management Familiarity with SCCM for deployment Strong understanding of Active Directory Excellent documentation skills Scope: The project involves transitioning approximately 28,000 students and 3,700 staff members to Microsoft 365, Azure, and Intune services. This includes managing a total of 5,800-5,900 Windows devices, 8,700 iPads, and a few Macs. The primary task will be migrating all Windows computers to Windows 11 using fresh images, with deployment currently managed through SCCM and flash drives. Additionally, the contractor will assist with the setup and configuration of Intune, Autopilot, and Entra ID, and facilitate the conversion of On. Microsoft accounts to district managed aliases. Objectives: Set up and configure Intune, Autopilot, and Entra ID Assist with the conversion of On Microsoft accounts to district aliases Provide basic training to district staff on new systems Document maintenance procedures and configurations Review faculty license numbers and ensure alignment with user counts Timeline: Note: This position is a contract role and will require flexibility in scheduling to meet project deadlines.
