| Title : Test Engineer Work Location: Lanham, Maryland( 1 day a week onsite) Duration : Long Term The qualified applicant will support the Internal Revenue Services (IRS) tax processing pipeline and master file systems. Roles and Responsibilities: - Develop/Provide input to Test Plan(s) in RQM - Conduct functional and/or integration testing of multiple programs in an IBM mainframe or client/server environment. - Construct test cases with predetermined results and test data to verify program functionality and/or interfaces through RQM. - Review output to determine whether or not the test results fulfill the established requirements - Coordinate test activities with project stakeholders - Coordinate work assignments to ensure timely and accurate completion of testing - Provide inputs on the required testing level of effort for Unified Work Requests. Required Qualifications: - Minimum Bachelors degree and 6 years of progressive IT experience - 3 years of software testing experience - Must be either a U.S. Citizen or possess a minimum 3 years of residency as a Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR) in the U.S. - Must have experience with at least one of the following IRS systems/processes: - Final Integration Testing (FIT) - Systemic Processing (SP) - Individual Masterfile (IMF) - Customer Account Data Engine 2 (CADE2) - Corporate Files Online (CFOL) - National Account Profile (NAP) - IMF Error Resolution System (ERS) - Generalized Unpostable Framework (GUF) - Modernized e-File (MeF) Preferred Qualifications: - Working knowledge of IBM REXX language - Control-M - IBM File Manager skills with maps/templates on ancient data formats/CRLs - Experience with IBM File comparison utilities - Knowledge of standard IBM Utilities and Rational CLM (i.e. compare utilities, Rational Quality Manager (RQM), Rational Team Concert (RTC), etc.) - Software testing or development experience in an IBM mainframe batch processing environment - Working knowledge of updating/executing IBM JCL - Knowledge of industry standard Performance tools - Knowledge of current IRS tax administration software applications and Master File processing is a significant plus - Knowledge of Individual Tax Processing Engine (ITPE) processing - Knowledge of Individual Master File (IMF) transactions and processes - Knowledge of Modernizing and reengineering IMF with object-oriented modular applications using modern programming languages and too -- Keywords: information technology Test Engineer Lanham, Maryland( 1 day a week onsite) [email protected] |
