Proficiency in Appian-Sail, Java, Webservices (REST API), databases, BPM, and Agile experience. Strong knowledge of Java, JNDI, Ajax, Javascript, JS, XML, and XSLT. Certification, knowledge, and work experience with at least Appian versions 16.x, 17.x or higher. Experience working on Appian custom plug-ins, CDT's, and Integration patterns. Experience with migrating applications from on-premise to cloud environments, preferably within Appian. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work onsite in Chicago, IL, 3 days a week. Responsibilities As an appian Developer you will be creating industry solutions that meet the highest standards in user experience. Develop and maintain Appian applications, focusing on transitioning from on-premise to cloud-based solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain applications within the Appian platform. Provide technical expertise and guidance on Appian best practices, performance optimization, and scalability. Participate in code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance application functionality and efficiency. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements and solutions within the Appian environment.
