Uop was created in the late 1990s and consists of multiple technologies. The front end of uop is a java swing fat client that is installed directly on user's pcs. The java swing client communicates via jad and jolt to a tuxedo domain that contains many tuxedo servers which contain many tuxedo services. In typical three-tier architecture of the time, tuxedo services are split between a business processing services and data management services. This position will be the primary developer to provide 24x7 support and maintenance for the tuxedo services.
