Kindly share only GC & USC Profile Position: MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Engineer Location : Remote Role Description: As an MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and supporting the MES systems in a manufacturing environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product engineering, production, process engineering, and IT, to ensure the MES systems meet the operational needs and business objectives of the organization. Required Skill: Minimum 5+ years of strong experience in Cornerstone MES System, Performance Manufacturing Execution System and Quality Lifecyle Management (QLM) Exposure to MiniMIINT, Aveva Enterprise Integrator (EI), Aveva Information Server (formally WIS), Aveva MES Operations, Aveva MES Quality, Aveva Work Tasks, Factory Talk Asset Center, Prisma Job Description: Support, deploy and develop MES systems based on the functional requirements of the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the MES systems align with the organization's operational and business goals. Configure and customize the MES systems to meet the specific needs of the organization. Develop and execute test plans to ensure the MES systems meet the functional requirements and specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the MES systems and associated hardware and software. Develop and maintain system documentation, including user manuals, standard operating procedures, and training materials. Train end-users on the proper use of the MES systems and provide ongoing support. Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements related to the MES systems. Analytical and problem-solving skills: MES engineers must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and troubleshoot issues related to the MES systems and associated hardware and software. They should be able to analyze data and system logs to identify the root cause of issues and develop effective solutions to address them. Excellent communication skills are essential for an MES engineer. They must be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and IT, to ensure the MES systems meet the operational needs and business objectives of the organization. Good communication skills are also necessary for training end-users on the proper use of the MES systems and providing ongoing support. An MES engineer must have a deep understanding of MES systems and associated hardware and software. They should be knowledgeable about system architecture, configuration, and customization, as well as industrial automation systems such as PLCs, SCADA, and HMIs.
