Focus on engineering experience specifically related to data encryption. Must Haves: At least 5 years of experience with Data Encryption platform, including most recent release of Vormetric version 6.4.9 Must have experience with operating systems UNIX, Linux, and Windows. Data REST and AWS Cloud environment experience - is a PLUS. Nice to haves - Python, PowerShell and Bash experience. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on database and folder-level data encryption. Extensive experience with Vormetric Data Encryption platforms and familiarity with the most recent release (version 6.4.9). Proficient in operating systems including UNIX, Linux, and Windows. Practical experience with AWS cloud environment, specifically in cryptography and key management. Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash are highly advantageous. Preferred Skills: Exposure to AWS encryption best practices and policies. Ability to work flexibly, accommodating weekend and night shifts when necessary. About the Role: We are seeking a seasoned Data Encryption Engineer to join our Applied Cryptography team within the Information Security Engineering department. This role is pivotal in providing administration and engineering support for encryption-at-rest services across our private and public cloud environments. Responsibilities: Implement and support data encryption services and ensure integration with enterprise applications. Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and threat intelligence studies. Offer Level 3 support and troubleshooting for IT security solutions related to data-at-rest encryption. Engage in the planning, design, and implementation of new security solutions. Maintain and troubleshoot key and certificate management systems and data-in-transit issues. Collaborate with various stakeholders to meet security requirements and business objectives. Provide training on security tools and encrypted environments to clients and internal teams.
