In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure based on Amazon Web Services, and occasionally other technologies. Experience & Responsibilities The right candidate will have a proven track record with the following responsibilities within AWS. Planning and designing the cloud infrastructure with AWS. Network / Security implementation and configuration Web Application Firewall, Application Load Balancer, Private subnets, OpenVPN. Maintaining and deploying the cloud applications Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the cloud infrastructure Developing new cloud-based solutions Experience with Linux / Unix operating systems, web and application servers like Apache, Tomcat or Nginx. Other Responsibilities Designing and implementing secure network solutions within AWS that meet business requirements. Creating and configuring virtualized systems within AWS Performing infrastructure upgrades to maximize system efficiency while minimizing downtime. Deploying applications in AWS Maintaining, testing, and implementing disaster recovery procedures Implementing automation using scripting languages (ie Python or Perl) to manage AWS services. Skills And Qualifications A can do attitude and willingness to dig into customer issues and support. Experience supporting an AWS application solution. Excellent communication skills Expert customer skills Solid understanding of networking and hosting technologies and solutions Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical skills with the ability to own the creation and presentation of analysis.
