The architect in this position is expected to be 50% hands-on. Key Responsibilities: Participates in the conceptual phases of identifying and solving business problems and initiatives. Assists with the development of frameworks, standards, policies, principles, and procedures to guide technology implementation. Facilitates technical design reviews, ensuring adherence to architectural standards of the organization. Contributes to functional, logical, and technical architecture for the ERP project and ERP platform initiatives and collaborates with the greater architecture team and the project team on implementation Identifies necessary non-functional requirements (performance, security, operational concerns) and participates in addressing them. Recommends options for the resolution/prevention of technical debt and to facilitate rapid development and implementation. Helps develop and execute test plans to test functional software and infrastructure and helps drive consistency and automation. Recommends improvements to processes and technology that improve the effectiveness of the team. Helps drive best practices for software development, coding, performance tuning and integration. Contributes to the definition of engineering processes, standards, and technologies / frameworks. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education 7+ years+ of working experience on engineering and architecture teams. Experience as a Technical Lead on large-scale software implementations with design and hands-on development Experience in technology development and delivery for SAAS applications Experience with AWS or similar Cloud based environment. Experience in multi-tier enterprise architecture environments Experience designing and developing enterprise integrations Experience with relevant database technologies Some experience with low-code/no-code architecture Experience documenting and presenting architectural designs and solutions to the team. Experience working across multiple teams to influence consistent patterns. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with teams across multiple time zones.
