| From: Ravina, Vyze Inc [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Mainframe CICS Engineer- Level 5Location - New York, NY, USA, 10004 Duration - 12 months Location New York, New York Primary Skill SMP/E,CICS parameters ,software, Mainframe WebSphere MQSkills Required:- Knowledge of all CICS parameters that control performance in a CICSPlex environment. - Knowledge of SMP/E, software upgrade and maintenance - Knowledge of CICS SMF record structure and the CICS Performance Analyzer tool to gather statistics necessary to tune CICS regions - Experience with CICSPlex SM implementation & customization, dynamic transaction routing, etc. - Knowledge of the CICS resource definitions that pertain to CICS region performance - Ability to perform problem determination, dump analysis and performance tuning - Experienced with the CICS monitoring tools such as Sysview for CICS. - Knowledge of Cobol to support application developers - Experience with Mainframe Websphere MQ- Good oral/written communication skillsSkills desired:- Assembler and COBOL coding and knowledge of CICS Exits - Web application support in a CICS TS V5 environment- Understanding of zOS facilities such as: APF, Linklist, VSAM, LPA, Coupling Facility - Good Project Management skills- Knowledge of the CICS Interdependency Analyzer tool - Working knowledge of the zOS & CICS Explorer- Knowledge of Natural language & Adabas - Prior Application programming experience a plus.
