Please share your profiles to [email protected] or you can reach me at 972-580-0247 Ext 253 DevOps Engineer 5 Location-Remote/IL-Peoria Positions Contributions to Work Group: These team members will be working alongside the other dev team members focusing their efforts on key initiatives for the Value Simulation Tool. Typical task breakdown: Perform DevSecOps work such as designing and coding of CI pipelines and other automation, configuring cloud resources, permissions. Create and monitor IT tickets. Stay connected with other teams in the IT space as needed regarding our application. Monitor and maintain background job execution. Perform and monitor security scans (dynamic and static code scanning). Attend a small number of team meetings and stay in touch. Estimate and pick work items for themselves. Read, understand, and refine requirements for their work items, and sync up with the team. Iterate on work until it is deemed done by the team. Test their own work, clean up, and refactor code. Interaction with team: Work closely with the Principal Architect (and our team) to discuss requirements and progress. Work as needed with Client IT teams responsible for WAF, Login, Cloud, Security, DevOps. Work environment: Long-term project with high business impact. Agile, continuous deployment. Reasonable completion time expectations Education & Experience Required: Position requires a computer science or equivalent technical four-year degree from an accredited college or university. 10+ years overall experience in development and support work related to systems or infrastructure. Technical Skills (Required) Azure Cloud (2y, strong). Git (1y, competent). DevSecOps concepts (4y, strong). Programming / scripting (4y, strong). CI pipelines. Azure DevOps Pipelines YAML (which we use), or others (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) (4y, strong). Infrastructure as code. Azure ARM (which we use) or others (Terraform, Cloud Formation, etc.) (2y, strong).
