Working in a hybrid model, three days onsite per week, the Developer will be developing automation solutions for the clients database, storage and database security teams. This opportunity calls for a person who owns success at the solution level and must be experienced in utilizing Ansible for configuration management and for automating infrastructure/environmental change. Responsibilities: Experience with various automation and DevOps technologies such as Red Hat, Ansible, Git/Bit Bucket, CI/CD tooling. Engage with development teams to gather requirements and build automation to deliver on those requirements for Infrastructure teams which we are aligned. Collaborate with operational teams to advise and establish standards that enable automation capabilities. Provide clear, concise, and organized documentation to establish and maintain standards and procedures. Required skills: 7+ years of overall IT and/or database automation development experience and strong understanding of SDLC 3+ years' experience developing Ansible playbooks and workflows 3+ years experience with shell scripting tools and languages: Python/Perl/Bash Experience with developing solutions that both consume and provide RESTful web services Understanding of SDLC and DevOps related tooling, such as GitHub/Bitbucket, Ansible, Puppet/Chef, Jenkins or similar tools Strong SQL query knowledge Preferred skills: Strong Oracle PL/SQL experience Experience developing in an Oracle APEX environment Knowledge of enterprise scale database platforms |
