The ideal candidate will possess 6 to 8 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity, with a strong background in security testing activities and vulnerability assessment. As a Senior Security Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security posture of our clients' systems and applications through meticulous analysis, strategic guidance, and proactive risk mitigation strategies. Responsibilities: Assist in the technical scoping of security testing activities to ensure comprehensive coverage of client systems and applications. Curate and assess vulnerability data from both manual penetration testing and code assessment perspectives, focusing on true exploitation and minimizing false positives. Conduct focused research to stay updated with the latest security threats and methodologies, contributing to the enhancement of our testing processes. Provide clear and actionable guidance to clients on identified findings, both in written reports and verbal communication. Perform architecture security analysis and threat modeling as necessary to identify and address potential security risks. Collaborate with member firms to support remedial actions and respond to client inquiries regarding vulnerabilities. Assist in the development and deployment of tooling and scanning configurations to optimize testing procedures. Escalate key risks and issues to the relevant Regional Operations Manager for prompt resolution. Drive risk reduction goals and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization's vulnerability-related services. Support code assessment and network infrastructure testing as per customer requests. Conduct various security testing activities including software/web application penetration testing, network penetration testing, mobile application penetration testing, and thick client penetration testing. Review and refine test cases periodically to ensure their effectiveness and relevance. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field. 6 to 8 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security testing and vulnerability assessment. Preferred certifications: CISSP, OSCP/CPT/CEPT/CMWAPT. Proficiency in scripting languages. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in a consulting role is advantageous.
