Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Developer to join our team, focusing on the seamless transition of data from legacy systems into our new system environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in C#, PL/SQL (Oracle), and Control-M, with a strong understanding of file transfer protocols and best practices. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain batch files/scripts to extract data from legacy systems. Transform and manipulate data as necessary to ensure compatibility with the new system. Implement secure and efficient file transfer processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address data transfer requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to file transfers and data integrity. Optimize file transfer workflows to enhance efficiency and reliability. Requirements: Proficiency in C# for scripting and automation tasks. Extensive experience with PL/SQL, particularly in Oracle environments. Familiarity with Control-M or similar workload automation tools. Strong understanding of file transfer protocols (e.g., FTP, SFTP, HTTP, etc.). Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prior experience in data migration projects is a plus. Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5-10 years of relevant experience in software development and file transfer operations.
