Role: Oracle Apex Developer Location: Remote Requires current Secret Clearance Key Responsibilities: Application Catalog Analysis: Conduct initial analyses of the existing application catalog to help understand functionality, dependencies, and performance issues. Support Transformation Recommendations: Assist in developing plans for application transformation and consolidation using Oracle APEX, aimed at improving efficiency, scalability, and maintainability. Collaborate on Enterprise Architecture: Work under the guidance of senior team members to support the design and implementation efforts towards a streamlined enterprise architecture. Technical Documentation: Help in creating detailed documentation that covers the analysis, recommendations, and implementation strategies for application transformation. Sustainment Analysis: Provide analysis on the sustainment of the application catalog, including evaluations of the level of effort, Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) staffing needs, and operational costs involved in maintaining applications post-transformation. Stakeholder Communication: Support communication efforts with business stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback on application functionalities and performance. Adherence to Best Practices: Contribute to the team's efforts by following established Oracle APEX development standards and best practices to ensure quality and consistency. Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Demonstrable experience with Oracle APEX and Oracle Database, including SQL and PL/SQL, through coursework, internships, or projects. Basic understanding of application analysis and enterprise architecture principles. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Good communication skills, capable of effectively articulating techni cal concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and an understanding of DevOps practices. Exposure to cloud platforms and services is a plus. Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced consulting environment. Interest in following technological trends and developments in Oracle technologies.. TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in related technical discipline and 8+years experience. Advanced degree in related technical field desired.
